- Jacky Goldberg is a journalist and a film critic based in Los Angeles since 2016. He started his career in Paris in 2008, by joining the cultural magazine Les Inrockuptibles and has been one of their regular contributors since then. He enjoys writing about every genre of movies, from Hollywood blockbusters to international art movies, but he’s particularly fond of American comedies: he’s a renowned expert about them in France, having directed a documentary about Judd Apatow for Canal + in 2014 (“This Is Comedy”). From 2013 to 2016, before moving to L.A., he was a regular commentator in Le Cercle, the most famous French TV show for critics. He has also signed countless articles (reviews, interviews, celebrity profiles, festivals, investigations…) for Vanity Fair, GQ, Vogue, Elle and others. Jacky is also a director of both documentaries and narrative films.
