About me, my market, and what I love most about my work:
I am an author and a film critic and am passionate about what I do. I love being able to see so many diverse stories and terrific actors in the movies I get to review. My market is online and is read by a wide range of people.
This is my passion project, or passion in general:
I love seeing stories of courage and hope and would like to complete a book about the “100 Movies I Love.”
What it means to me to be part of the CCA:
Being a Critics Choice Association member means a lot to me because my work gives an opportunity for actors, writers and filmmakers to be noticed (through my reviews) who would not otherwise be discovered. I try to highlight underseen talents and undiscovered gems. Being a CCA member makes me feel a sense of purpose in what I do.
My favorite film/TV series that I am currently watching and why:
A Good Person. It may not be perfect but it’s my favorite recent film because it takes big risks and will move its audience deeply. Those are things every movie should aspire to do.
