About me, my market, and what I love most about my work:
I’m a Korean-American TV host/producer right in the heart of Los Angeles where everything happens. We get paid to watch movies and television shows and talk with the people that are part of it. It’s a true privilege.
This is my passion project, or passion in general:
My passion is fantasy football. If you need advice come to me, if I hear you play in a league, I’ll give you unsolicited advice.
What it means to me to be part of the CCA:
It has allowed me to meet new friends and peers that I’ve admired from afar, you know who you are. I used to go to screenings or events, wondering if I was going to know anyone and now I feel comfortable that I’ll bump into a familiar face. I appreciate that being a member means that I worked hard to get where I’m at and that I belong and get to represent.
My favorite film/TV series that I am currently watching and why:
The Karate Kid, which also was made into a great TV series as Cobra Kai. The movie really represents a certain era in time, where karate dojos started popping up everywhere and kids signed up for classes. Plus, it introduced us to Elisabeth Shue, who I have yet to interview – will put that on my bucket list now.
