About us, our market, and what we love most about our work:
We’ve recently expanded our media footprint to include the Milwaukee area in addition to the Chicagoland market. We have been correcting each other’s opinions about films for seven years and even though our conversations can be explosive at times, we’ve come to respect each other more and become better friends as a result. What we love most about this job is discovering a small gem of a movie and spreading the word about it.
This is our passion project, or passion in general:
My passion project is educating younger viewers about the films from the Golden Age of Hollywood and keeping the spirit of the movies from the 1920’s to 1950’s alive.
What it means to us to be part of the CCA:
We love being a part of the CCA because of the networking opportunities it provides and meeting so many fellow critics over the years who have become good friends.
Our favorite film/TV series that we are currently watching and why:
Pam enjoys the sharp writing and social commentary of The Morning Show. Chuck liked Flora and Son and She Came to Me.
