About me, my market, and what I love most about my work:
Oie!! I’m Jana Nascimento Nagase aka Jana On Camera and I’m a Brazilian entertainment journalist, Film & TV critic based in Los Angeles, and I LOVE indie movies. I’m originally from São Paulo (Brazil) and I’ve been living here in the US since 2001. I write for Gazeta News, the biggest Brazilian newspaper in the US based in Florida, since 2012.
I also have some bylines (interviews and reviews) at MamasGeeky.com. I have my own website and YouTube Channel called Jana On Camera (https://www.youtube.com/c/janaoncamera/videos).
This is my passion project, or passion in general:
Aside from my family, coffee and chocolate, my passion is conducting interviews. Do I love that? Oh yes! Every interview is different, every interview has a different personality and tone, and every day I discover or learn something new. It’s a blast!
What it means to me to be part of the CCA:
It means a lot! I’ve been a CCA member since 2022, and it’s been both a pleasure and an honor to be a part of this prestigious organization.

I’m re-watching Succession because it’s so good!
I’m watching Cangaço Novo (New Bandits), a spectacular new Brazilian series on Prime Video.
