About me, my market, and what I love most about my work:
I am a Los Angeles-based journalist who is originally from Brazil, my main market. I have written on a variety of topics, from hard news to politics, but my passion is covering entertainment and the film industry. I currently work for several different outlets, and I also host a weekly show called Hollywood News (SBT TV), where we discuss the latest movies and TV shows.
This is my passion project, or passion in general:
I am fascinated by great stories and love conducting interviews. I enjoy talking to people and asking them questions to learn more about them and the world. All of my projects are related to this. I would also love to have more people learn about Brazilian productions and would love to create a project to introduce them to the world. There are many talented Brazilian artists and filmmakers who deserve to be recognized on a global scale.
What it means to me to be part of the CCA:
I have been a CCA member for a year, and it is a great pleasure and an honor to be part of this amazing group of professionals whom I admire so much. It has been incredible meeting new members who share the same passion as I do.
My favorite film/TV series that I am currently watching and why:
I just finished watching the series New Bandits on Prime Video. I thoroughly enjoyed it and highly recommend it. It is one of the best Brazilian series ever made, with action, drama, heart, and a fantastic script, cast, cinematography, and score.
