About me, my market, and what I love most about my work:
I’ve been reviewing films since 2006 and have been heard on Hollywood 360 Radio Network, a syndicated talk-radio show, since 2009. As a former teacher, I enjoy promoting cinema and TV as a form of artistic expression. Meeting the talent involved with a project is very rewarding as I learn more about their vision.
This is my passion project, or passion in general:
My passion is writing film articles and covering the Critics Choice Awards for RogerEbert.com. I also enjoy being part of film festival panels, conducting Q&A’s with talent, attending film festivals, Red Carpets, and interviewing talent.
What it means to me to be part of CCA:
I’m in my 9th year. It’s great to be part of a prestigious film and TV group that honors and helps promote their work.
My Favorite Film/ TV series that I am currently watching and why:
Air is an incredible story of basketball legend Michael Jordon and the creation of his Nike Air shoe and clothing line. I like it because of the duo of Ben Affleck and Matt Damon; they are my favorite actors in Hollywood, and to see them working together on this project is fantastic. Also, Succession has a great script, acting, and intriguing characters. It is also the best show on TV at the moment.
