About me, my market, and what I love most about my work:
I am editor-in-chief of Culture Mix, a lifestyle website with a very diverse selection of movie and TV reviews. What I love most about my work is experiencing and writing about a large variety of entertainment. It’s also great to have conversations with people whose work that I enjoy and who have personalities that I like.
My work experience includes being a writer or editor for Paramount Media Networks, Women’s Media Center, Shondaland, AXS.com, Examiner.com, Lifetime, People, and Billboard. My on-camera experiences include being interviewed on CNN, Access Hollywood, and CNBC. I’ve made guest speaking appearances at Columbia University and New York University.
In addition, I’ve been a panel moderator and a booker of panelists and speakers for conferences presented by Billboard and The Hollywood Reporter. I’m also a Tomatometer-approved critic at Rotten Tomatoes and a straight ally to the LGBTQ community. I am a graduate of Stanford University and the University of Southern California.
This is my passion project, or passion in general:
I’ve known from a very early age that I wanted to be an entertainment journalist. While it’s important to accomplish goals, it’s just as important to keep learning, no matter what stage we are at in life.
What it means to me to be part of CCA:
The Critics Choice Association truly stands out from other film/TV critics groups because CCA has an impressive variety of talented people from all over the world who are reviewing movies and television in creative ways. It’s why I’m very excited about the CCA Membership Empowerment team, where I’ll be handling diversity and inclusion matters. I believe every individual’s uniqueness should be celebrated.

Because I’m so passionate about pop culture, I don’t limit myself to only a few genres. People can find my reviews on Culture Mix or Rotten Tomatoes. I review about 450 to 500 movies a year.
