- Biography:
- Now in my seventeenth year as a celebrity interviewer, and before that eight years on set as an IATSE camera assistant, art and storytelling have long been a passion (father was a novelist, sister danced with the Joffrey). I tried my hand at filmmaking, with a screenwriting credit on "Love Trapped in Baghdad," shot and released in China, 2007, with limited U.S. I worked camera crew on hundreds of projects including a Steven Soderberg-directed episode of "Fallen Angels," and David Byrne's "Make Believe Mambo." I researched and cowrote proposal for National Geographic's "The Sirens of Cheju," on disappearing tradition of women free divers in South Korea. Had photos published in The Hollywood Reporter, The Wrap, Artinfo, and La Presse in Canada. As a journalist I covered film and fine arts for Reuters, including a series of articles on the 2011 Oscars and the opening of Levitated Mass at LACMA. I covered film and performing arts for The Hollywood Reporter and Artinfo.com, where I also contributed video 1:1's with A-list actors and directors. Studied filmmaking at NYU and School of Visual Arts, drama at HB Studios. I offer an encyclopedic knowledge of film history and a background in filmmaking and the arts that gives me a unique perspective.
