- Ever since he was in the 2nd grade, Germain Lussier wanted to be a film critic. He began the process at his high school newspaper, then went to New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts and graduated with a degree in Cinema Studies and Journalism. From there internships at Premiere Magazine and Entertainment Weekly lead to his first full time gig, as a critic and reporter for a local New York paper called the Times-Herald Record. There, he won multiple New York State Associated Press Awards for his reviews. After that it was off to Los Angeles and films blogs such as Collider, Slashfilm, and currently, io9/Gizmodo, where every day that 2nd grade dream continues to be a reality.
